Prizes for Baby Yoda Board For Safe Clean Schools
Donation protected
The last two years have been hard for all of us, especially children.
Children need constant encouragement and praise when they do things expected of them. So, I decided to create a way to help students understand that Custodians appreciate it when they are doing their part to help our schools stay clean and safe.
I have created a “Baby Yoda Board” with the idea that when students get noticed taking care of their school. We will write their names down and what they have done, then put the tag on the board.
The board has been up for a week at Ocean Lake, and the student response has been excellent. Students are doing their best to pick up trash, help their teachers, be safe, and they seem to like the attention they are getting in such a positive way.
We will have a school-wide drawing every two weeks, and three students will win a prize. Students who don't get their names drawn will have another chance at the end of the year and can get their names on the board multiple times.
I am asking for donations to this fund for prizes. Some of the rewards we have collected are Large Baby Yoda stuffed talking plushies, I would like to get a few gift certificates to places like the Zoo, and Omsi, Prizes geared toward learning and fun.
Ocean Lake and Taft Elementary both have a Bulletin Board and participate in this program. It is funded by donations from Custodians and the general public. We have raised $100.00 so far in prizes.
Please see the attached GO FUND ME if you want to donate. A complete list of receipts and prizes will be provided to anyone wishing to inquire.
