As we have no children yet, we really need your help to raise $10,000 for the opportunity to have a baby through IVF, which will have up to an 80% chance for a full term pregnancy using “donor eggs”.
Our lives would be complete if we could just have at least one child. Having a baby would bring us the greatest happiness in the world!! It has been our hearts desire to have a little child to teach and nurture since we were first married.
In short, we will soon be beyond child bearing years and have little hope of ever having sufficient funds for adoption.

The following events summarize our 10 year journey of longing for any chance to become parents of at least one child.
I am 41 years old and born without fingers on my right hand. I worked hard to master the violin and inspire young people around the world to dream big, overcome obstacles and press forward with faith while serving God and others regardless of how difficult the journey.
Seven years after serving an LDS mission in Croatia I returned and met Mate’ Bilic, the kindest, most good-hearted man I ever met (who I would marry after a two year courtship)
When we tried to start a family we soon discovered that conception was not possible without Invitro-fertilization (IVF) and we did not have enough money to adopt.
With help from a grant and $4000 of our own personal fundraising we proceeded with 2 IVF cycles but without success.
As hope was fading, we were miraculously accepted into a program offering a $10,000 grant with one additional requirement.
Due to my age (41) and previous unsuccessful attempts with my own eggs, we would be required to use “donor eggs” (increasing the chance of a successful full term pregnancy from 2% to over 60%)
This extra requirement also meant we had to raise $10,000 of additional funds to cover the extra costs of securing and using “donor eggs.”
Just as we were ready to proceed with the IVF we discovered that Mate’s mother in Croatia had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and was given only 1-6 months to live.
Sacrificing our dream of possible parenthood we spent the next 9 months (along with all our retirement monies) caring for Mate’s mother until her death.
We returned home, found new jobs and our IVF program was extended until June to raise the extra $10,000 needed for the donor eggs, but we're basically starting over from zero again.
