Baby’s Perineal Hernia Surgery

Baby (Ringo) had surgery this morning in Sherman Oaks. He did very well during the surgery.I am caring for him post surgery. We still need to raise this money, as SPARC will be receiving the invoice tomorrow. Please help us raise this money! Every little bit helps, thank you.

Baby (Ringo) went to the vet this morning due to being lethargic and having no energy. His vet visit today will cost around $500 or more. SPARC is pushing for his surgery tomorrow. It will cost around $2500. 

This is Baby(aka Ringo per SPARC) he is a terrier mix. I am not too sure how old he is, but he is the most loving dog I’ve ever met. I started feeding him and gaining his trust throughout the course of a month. For about a week or two he has been staying in my backyard and I noticed something was off about him. He was constipated and starting to take a long time to urinate. I gave him pumpkin, canned dog food and stool softeners, but he still seemed in great discomfort. Two or three days ago I noticed blood in his stool. I called a vet in town and was put on a cancelation list to get him seen as soon as possible. He was seen the next day at Four Paws and was diagnosed with a perineal hernia and a heart murmur. The surgery is the only way to save his life before his hernia ruptures in him. If you could please find it in your heart to donate anything, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to SPARC for taking Baby in to help me nurse him back to health.
