Baby Scott Adoption Fund

This is us - sharing a brief portion of how we came to start our journey toward adoption. 

 After having our two biological sons we were no longer able to have more children due to medical concerns.  At the time, this was fine and we were happy with our family of four.  Raising our own two sons and watching them grow began to stir a desire in us to have another child. We wanted to add to our family and provide a healthy and loving home for another little boy or girl.

 Though we started toward adoption a couple years ago we didn’t feel the peace to continue.  It was recently, a few months ago, the Lord reminded us that adoption was the path we should pursue to have another child.  That’s when we began praying and searching for an adoption agency to work with, and we found Gladney Center for Adoption. 

 After learning more about Gladney at orientation, listening to real-life stories of two birth-mom’s journey, and hearing from a family who finalized their adoption at the courthouse that day, it simply gave us peace about officially starting this adoption journey.

 Our sons, Camon and Talon, are so excited to be big brothers. We often talk about adoption with them and pray for our new baby.  They are begging God for a little sister!  Ha!  It is such a precious time to pray as a family for our new child.

 So, this is our time!  We are excited to begin this journey and we are asking you to join us!  Please, pray for our family, pray for our baby, pray for the birth-mom and her decision, and pray for the resources we need to welcome our future child into our lives.
