Hello everyone, We’ve decided to ask for the help of Amanda and Dave. On May 22nd, 2023 Amanda was at home doing her normal morning routine with her family. She bent down for something and felt something pop in her neck. She could feel a rush and suddenly came the worst headache she’d ever experienced in her life. Dave could see instantly something wasn't right and brought her to Grand Rapids Hospital. They found out she had a brain aneurysm that had burst causing bleeding on the brain. From there she was flown to St Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth where on the morning of May 23rd she underwent brain surgery. She made it through surgery successfully. She will be in the ICU for the next few days. For those of you who know Dave and Amanda know they are self-employed business owners of Enspire Me Boutique. They are not ones to ask anyone for help but are always willing to help anyone in need. We are asking for your help in relieving some of the financial burden. With all the medical bills, the helicopter ride, and Dave having to drive (if he doesn't get a hotel room for the night since they still don't allow visitors to stay overnight at the hospital) To those of you who can donate it is beyond appreciated. Please continue to pray for Amanda and her family. *5/24/23 - Update from Amanda* I absolutely can not even express all of my gratitude to you for all the thoughts, prayers, love and donations. Dave did go home tonight to be with the kids so I am in the hospital solo. I have amazing nurses and am being cared for very well. I am in the 95% my Dr said. I am super tired today, and dizzy which is normal after brain surgery. I don’t have much of a appitite but I am here and alive and striving! My thoughts and words are coming out slower today which is also normal it’s weird trying to find a word you know you want to say and can’t find it. Like “cheesecake” lol yes I searched to say cheesecake for 5 minutes tonight. I finally did it but weird not being able to just say the word you wanna say❣️ love you all! I plan to keep you all updated as much as I can. So far I will be here from 7-10 days in the ICU that’s all I know as of right now.* 5/24/23 - update from Amanda* This is insane!! I again can not tell you how grateful we are for all of your support! I again can’t sleep. I assume it’s steroids or one of the many new meds I am on! But I am alive and I continue to move forward. Yesterday was hard with grasping for words, slower speech and some comprehension delays. I will be working with PT and pray I will have a full recovery! I will try to post little updates when I can to keep you all up dated between pokes, pee breaks and PT! Lol love you all, Amanda.*5/26/23 - Update from Amanda One step forward 2 steps back. This morning was a rough morning with a terrible headache. I mean I know I just had brain surgery but when everything is going good then back tracks it’s tough. I know this will take time and ALOT OF TIME just hard❣️ Bryce and Dave are here with me they stayed at the skywalk hotel which is amazing. No sleeping in the car for Dave the last 2 nights amen. Ella wanted to go to her fun day today at school, my little trooper. I can’t thank you all enough for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this next chapter. Also so many thank yous for helping and reaching out with all of the kind words and donations. We do not expect any donations at all but I really want to keep updating you all and this is easiest for me. Love you all, Amanda
