Back the 2024 New Bern 8U's All-Star Team

The 2024 New Bern 8U Babe Ruth All-star Baseball Team is on fire this year! We were undefeated Champions in the District 5 Tournament! Then, we placed runners-up in a very close game (8-6) against Winterville in the Eastern NC Babe Ruth State Tournament, 8U Cal Ripken age division. Our All-stars now have earned the opportunity to play in the Southeast Region Babe Ruth Baseball Tournament being hosted in Winchester, VA, and they are excited to go! We are so proud of the talent, perseverance, teamwork, sweat, and tears these boys have put in over the entire course of the 2024 baseball season, but they’re not done yet! The excitement of earning a chance like this could be once in a lifetime for these boys. Until last year, it had been almost 10 years since an 8U team had this opportunity. This is the 2nd year in a row of our New Bern 8u All Stars putting together a championship team, made of almost all new players and coaches, and we are here to support our boys as they advance further and represent New Bern well!

However, we need help from our community! Youth sports are a big part of our town and important for our children. We try to keep the cost down so that all of our kids can participate in our regular season, but as we compete and advance further and further, we need our community’s help!
