Hello, my name is Imaad Khan, a professional football player from Pakistan. I'm thrilled to share that I am the first Pakistani ever to pursue a Master’s in Football Management & Coaching Education at the esteemed Real Madrid Graduate School in Spain.
Ever since I was a child, football has been more than a passion—it's been a way of life. I've had the honor of representing Pakistan twice as a National futsal player in 2016 and 2018. My passion has not been limited to playing football, but also to bring an impact to the often neglected, sports development in Pakistan. This passion led me to start Baseline Sports, a one of its kind facility where we provide sports facilities, coaching, and sports events for students and athletes.
In 2019, I received an incredible opportunity to further progress in this field: admission to study Football coaching and management at the Real Madrid Graduate School. Despite this achievement, financial constraints came in the way of education. I deeply appreciate the sacrifices my family has made to support my aspirations, but unfortunately, we lacked the means to cover the associated expenses.
After years of relentless effort & with four years of sports management experience as the founder of Baseline, in 2023, the BARD Foundation generously funded 70% of my tuition fees (https://www.instagram.com/p/C1bzBBHMEo5/), enabling me to embark on this life-changing journey. Now, Six months into the program, I find myself immersed in a world of learning and growth. However, the financial burden of continuing my studies for the next 3 months weighs heavy on me. The pressure is further exacerbated by the language barrier making it difficult to find part-time employment.
Your contribution will not only change my life but will also play a vital role in elevating the standards of football in Pakistan. The funds will be allocated towards my 1-week certification from Columbia University through the Real Madrid International experience, along with my remaining tuition fees and living expenses for the remaining 3 months.
As a national athlete in a country where sports funding is scarce, it's difficult to ask for support, but I believe in myself and my ability to elevate Pakistan's football and overall sports landscape.
