Back Jess's Path to a Fresh Start in DC

You might know Jess Huang as Celeste Pewter—the tireless educator on how our political process works and how we can best use our voices as citizens.

It's time to send her to Washington, DC. To do this, though, Jess needs some help. She has quite a bit of medical debt, as many Americans do. (64 percent of bankruptcies—most of which are to people with insurance, come from medical crises.)

To complicate matters, she has endured an extremely difficult living situation that cannot be resolved without this major life change. I'm lending my support and voice here because I have witnessed these particular challenges.

This is a way for us to thank Jess for all of the work she's done, completely voluntarily, to support our democracy and to start her over where she is most needed.
