Back on the Field: Aiding Fire Victims

Friends and Families,

My name is Dave Waco. I live in Tarzana, CA, where I run and operate a travel baseball organization called 365 and TPA Athletics.

Our organizations/teams support many families who live in Pacific Palisades and many of the other areas impacted by the fires over the past two days.

I found myself asking how I can help over and over again as I speak to so many who are in the middle of this devastation. As I awoke this morning, I received notifications from so many of our friends who either lost their homes or have been temporarily displaced by this horrific tragedy.

I have one of my best friends and his family now living with us; they lost their home and all of their belongings.

I soon realized that many of these kids had to evacuate and leave behind their baseball gloves, bats, uniforms, and so many of their treasured essentials.

I thought at a minimum we can try and help them start the rebuilding process and do our part to support them.

Many of the Palisades kids lost their schools and local rec centers. It is my hope that we help these families who lost so much, start getting some things back.

I would like to help them get "Back on the Field" as soon as they can.

Please donate what you can to help. 100% of the proceeds will go to these fire victims and their kids, all kids, not just those families associated with our organizations.

The funds will be used to help the families get their essentials back and to get the kids new and replacement athletic gear, associated tournament and participation fees so they can get out there and play with their friends and get their mind off the horrific events that they have had to endure. The goal is to help our community start the healing process. We can all help.

You do not have to live in LA County to show your support. I know we are all sharing in their grief.

Please do what you can as we want to start getting these kids back on the field as soon as they want to!
