Back surgery for Cali

When Cali was 14, she was diagnosed with an aggressive degenerative disc disease that was extremely advanced. She received 2 corrective spinal surgeries, and we were warned that wouldn't be the end of her battle with this disease.. She has done everything in her power as recommended by doctors to maintain a healthy and risk free lifestyle, unfortunately that hasn't been enough.
On NYE, Cali reinjured herself and was bedridden for the first two weeks of January before being able to seek help.. MRI results just came back, and we were shocked to learn that 6 of the discs in her lower lumbar are severely compromised. She has 3 bulging discs, and 3 herniated/torn. 2 of the herniated discs have cracked and left fragments floating near her spine. This has been an extremely painful time for her and while we are doing what can be done to manage the pain, her quality of life is diminished. We do know that surgery is required, but with no medical insurance coverage we are not only in need of money for future surgery, she is in need of the funds it will take to start the process with a surgeon. Any donation will be used to fund her medical expenses and treatment. Thank you for anything you are able and willing to give. This is an extremely stressful time for Cali and our family as we try to get a treatment plan in place for her.
