Back Surgery for James

This is something I never thought we would do but life happens. Around the middle of June I began experiencing pain in my right leg and knee. X-rays showed no damage so it was treated as a ligament strain. A week later I was back at Ortho with more intense pain. It was determined that the problem stemmed from my sciatic nerve at it would be treated with physical therapy. On our camping trip on the July 4th weekend everything changed drastically. I awoke to the realization that I was unable to walk without intense pain. Tanya took me to the emergency room. I was referred to a spine doctor who recommended that we try an epidural. It didn't work. I have been pretty much bed ridden since July 4th, very little sleep, no work and lots of pain. I am now scheduled for back surgery on Aug. 11th. I will be out of service for 3-6 months. Tanya will be trying to keep the house in order, watch after me and get a 2nd job to cover my part of the bills and our share of the surgery after insurance. Please keep us in your prayers. Asking for money is the last thing I would want to do but the thought of Tanya having to work double time to cover for me is heartbreaking. Thank you for listening.
