Concert Dance Conservatory—COVID-19 Recovery Fund

We know this has been an incredibly difficult time for our country and world.  We empathize with those of you who have been fighting to overcome diverse challenges during this COVID-19 crisis.   We at Concert Dance Conservatory have also been fighting to hold on and to overcome,  and are, in that effort, reaching out to you for help.  We are in great financial need as a brand new business and would greatly appreciate any donation you could give-- great or small-- to help us navigate beyond this turbulence.

Just before this turbulence hit, our fledgling business was seeing some of its highest student numbers and influx of income since its inception.  Unfortunately, we had to shutter our doors along with fellow businesses during the Shelter at Home order.  We were forced to change to an all online Zoom class format for multiple months and are just now in the first few weeks of returning to the studio space.

Although this change has brought immense financial, logistical and emotional consequences to our operation, we are sincerely amazed by, and thankful for, the commitment shown by our dancers and their families during this uncertain season.  Our young dancers, ages 4-17, as well as our adult students, attended their classes faithfully via their home computers, iPads or iPhone screens, for the entire time our studio doors remained closed.  This consistent attendance made it clear to us that dance instruction offers a unique positivity and hope to people in times of uncertainty.  It is, therefore, critical that we continue to keep this dance instruction available to our students.

Our students are now returning back to Concert Dance Conservatory’s ballet barres and Marley floors with infectious optimism and excitement, even while donning masks and observing social distancing within our classes.   We are now beginning to resume our in-studio instruction with the application of mask-wearing and social distancing guidelines,  increased sanitation regimens, 4 in-studio student-per-class maximums and the continuation of online Zoom classes for any number of students above that maximum.   Our students' positivity and resilience foster our passion and determination to  keep the studio afloat for future brighter days.  We are dancing for tomorrow, today.

Please help us with this endeavor by donating today.  Any amount, great or small, will be of huge assistance to Concert Dance Conservatory as we work to recover the various financial losses and strains placed upon us by the COVID-19 emergency.  We are not able to obtain help via any government assistance programs due to our unique conflict of being too young an entity to show any viable profit from previous years.  This predicament has shut our business out of receiving most forms of COVID-19 financial assistance.  It is, therefore, imperative that we receive financial aid via other means to keep our barres, floors, mirrors, love, passion, hope, atmosphere and dance instruction available to our dancers.  We cannot adequately express how helpful any donation will be or how grateful we and our students will be for any contribution.

Thank you for your time, compassion and consideration.

Sincerely,
