Backing the Bixler’s

Over the past several months Tyler has been dealing with leg and groin pain. After many months of doctors appointments and physical therapy, imaging revealed tumors in his pelvis and right femur. Ultimately Tyler has been diagnosed with metastatic esophageal adenocarcinoma. This has obviously been a devastating and difficult diagnosis for both Tyler and Jen to receive. While exact treatment plans are still in formulation, we know that this will be a long road and our good friends could use our help.

Both Tyler and Jen are the type of people who you want to be friends with. While Tyler lights up any room with his smile and a dirty joke, Jen is by his side with her warmth and laughter. They balance each other perfectly and their love for each other is unbounded.

During this time, Tyler will be intermittently out of work and Jen will also need to take a step back from her job as a nurse so that she can take care of her husband. Luckily, he’s got the best nurse in the world. In addition to a reduction in both of their work hours, we all know being sick isn’t cheap.

This is where you come in. Join us in showing the Bixler’s how much love and care is truly around them. They’ve got a huge circle of friends and family, who together, can make a difference to help this journey be a little less stressful financially. Jen and Tyler are so appreciative of all of the love and support they have already received, let’s keep it going!
