Justice For Marcellis Stinnette
On October twentieth of Of two thousand twenty, Marcellis Stinnette was fatally shot by a police officer in Waukegan, Illinois. Marcellis Stinnette was only nineteen years old at the time of his murder, and was looking forward to doing great things in his future. He wasn't doing anything when the unexplained situation was unfolding. He was a passenger in a vehicle that the police knew he was in and he ended up losing his life. For the past few years it has been financially, and emotionally draining for my family. My family lives in Florida and we have exhausted all of our funds for travel. On October 20th. 2024, it will be four years since Marcellis passed. There still isn't a trial date, but we would like to attend the hearings that have been going on since his death. The police officers that were involved had a lengthy history of police brutality, and was allowed to remain employed by the city of Waukegan prior to Marcellis death. We want Marcellis Stinnettes' death to be a key attribute towards bringing down the corruption of police brutality in America, and to send a message that corruption needs to stop, and accountability needs to be enforced, thank you.
