Bagging 9 munros in 24 hours for Kirsteen King

As many of you know, Kirsteen King, our beloved sister, daughter, auntie and dear friend, passed away on the 24th December 2023.

Kirsteen was a fierce feminist who fought with love and strength for a fairer and kinder world, and as a result we have since been raising money for Glasgow Women's Aid.

Already we have raised around £17,000 and we are so grateful for all the support that has already been shown for us, and for Glasgow Women's Aid.

With the amount raised, GWA have decided to dedicate a room to Kirsteen. This will be an empowerment space used to educate many people on feminism and where women who have received support from GWA's programme can return to support women and children taking their next brave step.

We are now raising money to provide further funding to this space.

At the end of May this year, a group of Kirsteen’s friends and family will be climbing the Glenshee 9, which totals ascending 9 munros (Scottish mountains exceeding 914m) in one day. It is a long and arduous hike, totalling 19 miles and over 5,500ft of ascent.
