Baggins ACL surgery
Donation protected
Hi friends, my name is Stephanie. My dog, Baggins, who some of you may know and love recently had a bit of a mishap and injured himself jumping out of my car and onto the icey ground. We took him into the Vet and found out he tore his ACL and needs surgery. While healing is possible on its own, the risk of this happening again are high. As a corgi, the weight of his body and the pressure he puts on his legs make recovery rough. Surgery is the vet recommendation to help prevent this leg from tearing the ACL all over again. Without surgery, not only will he be risking injury again but arthritis is also going to be present. Baggins is only 6 years old and still very young. With or Without surgery there will be other costs with physical therapy and massage therapy to keep his legs strong. Please find it in your hearts to help Baggins reach this goal to reaching a full recovery. This way he can have years of play without the stresses of injury all over again.
