Bagpiper barrel rolled his car at 80mph
Donation protected
My fellow bandmate Elijah was in a terrible car accident last week on his way home from a band performance.
He was driving back from a weekend-long performance with our band, trying to get home in time for work the following day. 6 1/2 hours into his drive (just an hour from his home), he briefly dozed off at the wheel while traveling at about 80mph. When he hit the rumble strips, he attempted to course correct, but the momentum caused his vehicle to barrel roll across the road and into a ditch, totaling his car.
All of his windows shattered, ejecting his bagpipe about 20 yards into the road, shattering his pipe chanter.
Amazingly, Eli walked away from the accident alive. However, he has cuts from the glass, bruises from the impact, significant soft tissue damage, and whiplash.
I am reaching out on his behalf to help him raise funds to purchase another vehicle. Both of his jobs rely on transportation.
Any amount you can donate to help him obtain a working vehicle and get back to performing and working would be greatly appreciated.
Eli is a professional bagpiper and violinist. He is also open to taking on virtual students at this time to assist in raising funds for this vehicle.
