Bailey Family recovery

Hi all,

My brother's family was involved in a head on collision accident that sent his three kids and wife to the hospital with very serious injuries. The youngest, John, had to be flown to UT for internal injuries. He had to have 20% of his lower intestine removed to stop the bleeding. At the time of this request, he is still under sedation and remains intubated at Children's Hospital.

The oldest daughter Amelia broke her back and wrist in the accident. She has already undergone a spinal fusion surgery and is progressing well. She has a long recovery ahead of her but is in good spirits. She is more worried about her brother and sister than she is about herself.

Their 12-year-old daughter, Olivia, suffered fractures in some of her facial bones and has some mobility issues due to sprains in her knees and ankles. Otherwise, she is doing well and is just worried about her mom and siblings.

Amanda, the mother, has a compound fracture in her lower leg and needs multiple surgeries to fix the damage. She is mostly worried about her kids and is in much physical and emotional pain because she cannot be with them.

My brother has much support around him but needs all the support and prayers he can get. The journey this family is about to go on for recovery will be long. There will be lots of future costs, doctor visits, and they will be down to just my brother's income.

This is a difficult time, and it is always hard to ask for help, but if there is any way you can donate, and/or share this out so other can help, please do so. I know that I have amazing people in my life, and I would never ask for anything for myself, but these kids are going to need a lot and their parents are going to have a hard time in the coming months.
