Bailey Gibbons Tumor Treatment
Donation protected
In the blink of an eye, my Fiancée and I noticed our beautiful and loving 8 year old lab mix, Bailey, started to show signs of an abrupt and unknown sickness.
She has been part of our family, and loved by many others, since the first day we took her home over 7 years ago, saving her from a kill shelter in Kentucky.
It has taken two weeks of vet examinations and tests, already over $5,000 in vet bills, to finally figure out what was going on, and the findings were beyond shocking. We were told this morning, she has a large tumor on her liver, that has possibly spread to other parts of her body.
Even the vets were shocked, as no blood tests indicated any issues or concerns, and Bailey had been acting her active and playful usual self until she started showing signs of sickness a couple weeks ago. Currently, Bailey is spending her time at the Blue Pearl Animal Hospital (picture above), in which we're very hopeful that they'll either be able to remove the growth, or direct and assist us in continuing alternative treatments to prolong and maintain a healthy and happy remainder of her life. We may even try to pursue other opinions and holistic treatment, if recommended. Even with everything she's been through, she is still managing to spread her loving energy to everyone she comes into contact with, and continues to remain positive, happy, and loving.
We're asking ANYONE, to donate ANYTHING you can, AS SOON AS YOU CAN, especially if Bailey has ever touched your life in a positive way. If you know her, you know the loving effect she has on everyone she meets (even if you're not a fan of her big sloppy kisses). Please, help us save this very special family member, or at the very least, help us give her the most time she can to enjoy the rest of her amazing life as happily and as healthy as she can, with all the people that love her.
