Bailey Oliver Speer, our AussieDoodle medical cost

Donation protected
Please help us cover Bailey's med bill. Bailey was at MedVet in Worthington Ohio for about 3 days and the cost was $7,500 of which we have fund raised about $700. There were some additional costs of meds and Vet visits. MedVet doesn't have a payment plan so we financed the cost using CareCredit. The first payment is due soon. We have 6 months to pay off this debt or they interest rate becomes 29%. I am currently undergoing some medical issues of my own and thankfully I have insurance but the cost of this looming debt weighs on me. If you can see your way forward to help us we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your kindness. See Bailey's story below.
Hi, my name is Bailey Oliver Speer and on December 29 I went out the doggie door to see a friend walking by. We were running along my fence when I ran into a tomato cage bottom spike. All I remember is it hurt going in my chest, I pulled back and collapsed on the ground. My dad came and got me and we made a mad dash to MedVet in Pickerington Ohio. I was put in a cage with oxygen but I was bleeding pretty badly. I finally got an IV to get fluids but my blood count dropped significantly. At 1:00pm Saturday I heard my mom yelling for them to give me to her and we rushed to a bigger MedVet in Worthington, OH. They did all kinds of things there, another IV, Dr Mac took off my bandage and did an ultrasound looking at the damage and what was causing the bleeding. Dr. Mac shared some good and bad news with mom and dad. It looked like I was a miracle boy in that the 4 inches the spike went into my chest missed my heart and all the major blood vessels. Just a little bit of my lung was damaged but I had air trapped between my lung and the chest wall and blood in my lungs. I was getting antibiotics to stop any infection but I was still bleeding internally. It was late and my folks had to go home. I tried not to look too sad but mom brushed the tear from my eye as I was trying to fight for my life. Sometime in the middle of the night I started feeling better. I found out later my red cell count dropped to 24 and I got some blood donated by retired greyhounds. Sunday mom and dad got to come for a little while. They brought a bandana from my pack mate Darla and Dad crawled in my big cage to cuddle me and let me kiss him in my favorite place, behind his ear. I just kept getting better. New Year's Day my count was back at 30 and I got to go HOME!
What I didn't know was it cost a lot of money as well as God's help to save me.
My mom set up this GoFundMe page so others who know me and some I never met can help my mom and dad pay off this debt.
I thank you so much if you can help. I thank you for your prayers for my recovery and the ones now that we meet our GoFundMe goal.
