Hi, I'm Bailey!

I'm an award-nominated filmmaker currently based in Canterbury. Recently, I've managed to wrangle my way on to a screenwriting Master's course at the National Film and Television School; this is pretty exciting for me as this course takes ten people a year out of hundreds (perhaps thousands?) of applicants.

The NFTS is the best film school in the country, and with that comes a hefty £15,000 a year tuition fee. I think I can cover that through scholarships and my government loan, however, the NFTS is also located in Beaconsfield, one of England's most expensive places to live.

The NFTS recommends that its students have £10,000 for each year stashed away to cover living expenses, which unfortunately isn't possible for me. Advice for students online invariably points to doing a GoFundMe... so do one I must.

I'm trying to raise enough money to cover my rent for my first year at the NFTS; renting is expensive both in Beaconsfield itself and further afield. I'll be looking to work alongside my studies even though the school itself advises against this.
