Bailey's preen gland tumor removal surgery

Hi Everyone my name is Nicole Harper and I am creating this fundraiser to raise the money needed for my budgie Bailey's preen gland tumor removal surgery.

On June 22nd 2023 I took Bailey to the Avian and Exotics vet in Raleigh NC to have a lump thing by her preen gland looked at and the Dr told me that it is a tumor that needs to be removed. If the tumor does not get removed it will continue to grow and cause her pain and i don't want to see her go thru that. I would like to see her have a chance at a longer and higher quality of life so i went ahead and scheduled her surgery for July 12, 2023 because this surgery really needs to be done as soon as possible.

I have no clue how I will come up with $925 up to $1600 for this surgery by July 11th but I have to make a way because Bailey is a very special little bird to me.

I got Bailey at the end of September 2020 from some people who has an outdoor aviary and a snake killed all there adult birds. They did not know how to feed the babies so they brought Bailey and 3 others to me in very poor condition. I handfed Bailey since she was only a few days old and we have been thru many challenges together and I would like to see her beat this tumor and have many more years of life with me.
