Bain Dental Group - Dorian Disaster Relief
Donation protected
On Sunday, September 1st, Category 5 Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas and caused devastating damage and flooding as it stalled over the islands for more than 24 hours.
Rescue and humanitarian crews are reporting widespread devastation, and are asking for help as the Bahamas begin to recover from the most powerful storm in their history.
Dr. Brian Bain, a dentist in the West Georgia area and also a native Bahamian, is traveling to the islands this week with a medical team to lend a hand and assist with the recovery efforts.
We are collecting items to take to the Bahamas Consulate General office on September 27th, but we are also accepting monetary donations. All funds raised will be used to purchase much needed items such as fuel, medication, generators, water filters and building materials. All donations, great and small, are very much appreciated!
