Baki needs double hip surgery

Hello, my name is Abbie and I am fundraising for my 2-year-old dog, Baki.

I rescued Baki from the streets of Guatemala in 2022 when he and his brother were found suffocating inside a sack and abandoned on the side of the road. He is one of my 4 rescue dogs and I have helped rescue and rehome many others.

Baki is a beautiful boy. He is very sweet and silly. However, he has been struggling to walk properly with his back legs and often cries in a lot of pain.

After an x-ray, the vet confirmed that he has severe aseptic hip necrosis, which is grade 2 on the left hip and grade 3 out of 4 on the right hip.

The outcome is that Baki will need surgery for both of his hips. Each operation costs £330. So to help Baki live a better life where he can walk properly and not suffer pain, we need a total of £660. The good news is that after the surgeries, Baki should be able to live a normal and healthy life. Until he can get the surgery, he will take pain relief.
