Bali Dive Guide Connect

The Tourism industry in Bali has laid off most of its workforce. In particular the Dive industry has released most of the staff who provide visitors with amazing experiences and memories that last a lifetime. With no social security, and many with no immediate family in Bali these young families are really in trouble. Many have sold their Dive gear (tools of trade) to provide food, pay rent, pay school fees)

For over six months now a small group of us have been sponsoring families of former Dive Industry workers and through many one off donations from friends, we provide food each week in and around Denpasar. We now have a contact in Amed who can help those living in the north east. So we need more money to keep the food pipeline going. 

We have two programs, one through one off donations that feeds families, the second is a longer term commitment to sponsor a young family with $50 - $100 a month. Sponsorships are designed to allow the Guide to take up work opportunities as soon as they appear. The sponsorship is directly between you and the family.
