Ballaghaderreen Christmas Lights

Hi All,

Once again we are preparing our special Ballaghaderrreen Christmas tree, our sparkling lights and a visit from Santa himself to our town.

In the midst of the pandemic, last year, the lights provided a much needed, cheery and festive atmosphere for so many.

In keeping with the tradition, we want to do our very best to recreate this at the end of what has been yet another difficult year for many people. In order to try and cover costs for the upkeep and maintenance of the lights we are asking businesses and the local community to help us out. We would very much appreciate your donation to help us brighten up the town for Christmas; for those of us who live here and for our visitors.

 

We would like to acknowledge and thank all the businesses who have generously supported us over the years. To date this support has been our main source of funding, along with the Ballaghaderreen Echoes and the Town Team. but due to the pandemic impact on businesses we are now also asking the wider community for support.

Our target is €5,000 and any funds raised above that will be donated to Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
