Ballet for Black & Brown Bodies

Ballet for Black and Brown Bodies  is growing and we need your help!

In May  we received our first ever grant from The Awesome Foundation  and are looking to raise at least $1000 in matching funds, with a stretch goal of $4000, to kick off our programming for the 2nd half of 2018.


In addition to our seasonal classes  offered in Oakland we’ve been asked to take this show and on the road and offer community classes in San Francisco, Sacramento, and the South Bay.


We are doing a lot on a shoestring budget and your support will really help us to make sure as many dancers of color in the Bay and surrounding areas can experience the brilliance of ballet in a new way!



As always support comes in so many forms. Here are some suggestions on how you can help!

Your contribution will go towards travel cost, studio space, and operational expenses to take Ballet for Black and Brown Bodies to 3 new cities: San Francisco, Sacramento, and the South Bay.

 Sign up for a dance class:
I will be teaching regular Ballet for Black and Brown Bodies  classes and workshops for the remainder of this year. Pre-Register for a class or series of classes to redeem at your convenience.
