Did you know the average cost of educating one American student a year in the USA is $11,392? Balo USA is a nonprofit organization that provides a top notch, private, English language education to children in Kolkata, India for only $275 per child per year.
Balo provides unprecedented educational opportunities for the poorest children living in the Kolkata slums (see admissions).
This year, we are aiming to raise $50,000 to assist with annual operating costs, and to buy a substantial portion of the school building in Kolkata to guarantee our future in the area.
