Help us help Baloo Play Fetch Again Soon

As some of Baloo's friends already know, September is his absolute favorite time of year. Not only because it is his birthday month... But also because it is the month when beautiful round apples ripen on the trees in his garden and fall down to him, perfect balls to play fetch with... As if the whole world is celebrating his birthday!

Unfortunately, our beautiful and hugely loved dog Baloo has ruptured his cruciate ligament; currently he can't put any weight on his back left leg. He has been put on strict bed rest, which to Baloo's huge disappointment, means no fetch. The surgery that Baloo needs involves reconstructing his knee. We have researched all our options, including available funding, different vets and different procedures and found an excellent vet in Cornwall that has given us a good quote for the best treatment for his knee, which will cost just over £3000. Our insurance will only pay £900, and we are doing our absolute best to find the remaining money as soon as possible, so we have decided to do a fundraiser. We feel fortunate and moved by the donations we have already received. Thank you to everyone! We are immensely grateful. Hopefully, Baloo will be on the mend soon and able to celebrate his birthday and enjoy September as much as ever!
