Mission

 

Tran’s connector promotes the health, rights, and dignity of individuals and communities impacted   by HIV , embodiment, homelessness, poverty violence empowering them so they can thrive in life. Tran’s connector provides compassionate harm reduction services, advocacy, and community engagement that is respectful, non-judgmental, and affirms and honors individual power and agency.

 

Vision

 

We believe that every t,l,g,b,t,q person should live healthy, self-determined, and self-sufficient lives free from stigma, violence, criminalization or oppression. We will achieve this through engage those who are living in survival mode and in our communities in challenging structural barriers to health, safety, and prosperity.

 

Services

 

Trans t,l,g,b,t,q services are provided by peer youth lead /survivors via delivery on our condom distribution van access to overdose prevention supplies, health, sti, std, hiv testing linkage services via outreach van hours are Mondays,Wednesdays,Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm-4am. All collected data will be taken back to Baltimore city LGBTQ commissioned by Catherine Pugh swop Baltimore.

We are currently asking for support to help renovate our office that will be used to address issues in the lgbtq community .

We are dedicated to creating successful life stories among transgender, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, gay, lesbian and bisexual individuals in struggle mode we are trying  to create a world where  transgender, genderqueer, and gender non-conforming people pursue their dreams and achieve success in their lives without fear of discrimination, harassment, or violence due to their sexual orientation and or gender identity/gender expression. Our current goals for donations are to use money donationed to create a office space to build a bridge in Baltimore city one step at a time by renovating our building for other work needed in the community of lgbtq people. All funds are allocated for Baltimore Safe Haven a Baltimore organization where the work is provided to Baltimore city’s lgbt community Trans connector lgbq . Casa ruby is a mentor to Iya dammons ,who runs in operates the trans connector she is the Executive  Director of Baltimore Safe Haven /Trans connector, Trans connector is a umbrella service provided by the up in coming project for Baltimore Safe Haven  . Iya  who lives in the Baltimore city area runs in operates Baltimore Safe Haven/ Trans Connector . Ruby serves as a fiscal sponsorship organization grooming young trans woman to archive there goals she is mentoring Iya to launch her own nonprofit   Baltimore Safe Haven for its own 501 c3 .
