Bama's Medical Bills

Our family is asking for your help. Our family dog, Bama, was viciously attacked a couple of weeks ago in Silt by two rogue Husky mix dogs from up the street. They came into our yard and then attacked our Pup. My father had to fight them off where he was injured as well. Bama was rushed to the emergency vet where we were told that he probably won't survive. We took him to another vet over an hour and a half away where they performed emergency surgery. He was given about a 20% chance to survive.

Our Bama is a fighter! He pulled through but has extensive scars, physically and emotionally. He looks like he will pull through but he's got some serious healing left.

My father has been to the Doctor several times due to him getting injured trying to fend off the attackers! He's a tough Vietnam Vet but this has really took a toll on him.

After all is said and done, our Vet bills will exceed $18,000 plus the week of work we had to miss due to transferring him from Vet to Vet.

We are not very good at asking for help but this has really hurt our family, financially.

The owners of the dogs do not have renters insurance and are barely getting by. If for some reason, we get awarded any type of damages, we would like to take the funds raised here that aren't needed and create a fund for someone else who has to go through this.

My wife and I have supported our community for years and will continue to do so and we can only hope and pray that we can get the help as well. We are sorry for having to ask for help but our Bama is worth it!
