Help Bambi with Gender Confirmation Surgery

Hi Lovelies,

My name is Belle (Bambi) and I am Transgender Woman from Melbourne, Australia.

At the age of 16 I came out to the world as Trans. My whole childhood I never understood why I had these deep inner feelings and thoughts. The need to escape a body and identity I never really felt was mine. No one around me had the information or help to give me, so I had to figure it out on my own. When I was 19 I finally started my medical Transition (HRT), and then that brings us to now.

I'm ready to start a new chapter and feel even more complete in my body. Gender Confirmation surgery/ Bottom Surgery/ Kitty surgery (my term for it) is the next step for me ! Here in Australia The government does not see gender dysphoria as a big enough concern to cover the costs for any trans related surgeries. Hospital Insurance and Medicare will only help to cover a tiny bit of the costs for the procedure and hospital stay. TRANS PEOPLE should not have to pay this much for any confirming surgeries. This surgery is so important and so crucial for so many of us to continue our lives.

I am creating this fundraiser for anybody who wishes or who is in a position to help me towards saving for this life changing surgery.
