From Indigenous youth leaders affected by a rising sea: A powerful call-to-action banner at COP 26
Geoversity Foundation and The CityKids Foundation in association with the Global Climate Uprising Festival present a call to action from The Guna Youth Congress with MINGA at COP 26 taking place in Glasgow, Scotland, October 31-November. Leading the charge are Guna leaders Iniquilipi Chiari and Agar Iklenia Tejada. Under their leadership, 42 women have handsewn the largest “mola” ever created (a traditional cloth appliqué unique to the Guna people) to trailblaze COP26.

We invite you to be a part of our voyage!
We will be in unity with Indigenous leaders at COP26 to remind and invite the world to join the cause for climate and biocultural diversity. The Bamboo Ark and Mola Sail launches a global voyage toward a healthy planet and honoring the rights of Indigenous peoples worldwide.

We are asking for everyone to come together and support us in any way you can. Any donation will help make an impact on our journey. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
Your donation helps fund the production of the presence and collaboration between international and Indigenous NGOs at COP 26. You will be funding one of the few Indigenous-led initiatives at COP26. This includes a performance at the Royal concert, presence in the Blue zone, and the hanging of the 38 square meter mola sail at the Tramway.
