Bana Eritrean Elementary School in Egypt
Greetings to all caring people, Eritreans and others!
Surbana Vision Media and Community Services, Inc. is assisting Eritrean refugees/Immigrants located in Egypt, Surbana in coordination with The Eritrean Refugee Cultural Center (ERCC) who are dedicated and committed to providing social services on a volunteer basis, to Eritrean refugees and immigrants in serious need of assistance there.
In 2021, Surbana sponsored and assisted ERCC in opening an elementary school that provides educational services for Eritrean children in Cairo. Parents with limited resources can now educate their children at little or no cost to them. Prior to opening Bana school students were lacking school opportunities.
Bana Elementary School is open with grades 1 to 6. Classes are academic and for trade skills. Classes are taught in English. And with Arabic and Tigrinya also included. Over 200 children are now attending. In addition to directly helping the children, having them out at school permits parents to leave the home to work and provide income.
We call upon all Eritreans to extend a hand for the success of this program: to contribute to help cover ongoing expenses such as for school supplies, teacher and administration salaries and building rent. Presently, donations will go toward purchase of needed items including
· More classroom chairs
· Computers/used or new laptops
· printers
· Staff tables/Chairs
· Stipend payment to 9 teachers and two admin officers.
· School supplies (books, pencils, markers, uniforms and more)
· Projectors and accessories
· Limited medical assistance and transportation expenses
All contributions will be utilized carefully and efficiently.
Your donation will truly make a positive difference in the lives and future of many Eritrean children living in Egypt.

መባእታ ቤት ትምህርቲ ባና : ካብ ቀዳማይ ክሳብ ሻድሻይ ክፍሊታት እተእንግድ ኮይና ፡ዓረብን ትግሪኛን ከም ቋንቋ ዝቅጽላ ኮይነን: ኩሉ ኣካዳምያዊ ትምህርቲ ብእንግሊዝ ክንምህር መማህራና ድሮ ምድላዋቶም ኣጻፊፎም ቦኽሪ ኣኸቦኦም ምስ ወለዲ ኣካይዶም።
