Banagher Christmas Lights 2021

 

It's hard to believe that after another difficult year we are getting ready to celebrate Christmas. It was another year where we were all challenged, alot of things changed and we all realised one way or another how important it is to appreciate the simple things in life.

We are doing our little bit to make Christmas special in our town, bring a smile to people's faces, possibly guide a weary soul home and hopefully welcome as many family members back to Banagher. 

As you can see the lights are beginning to appear around the town and we are also working on a more permanent lighting display that may be in place for Christmas.

Unfortunately as always these displays and lights have to be paid for and we anticipate it will cost around €4,500 to cover everything from insurance,  replacement and installation this year.

While we fully understand that this has been a difficult year financially, we are asking people in the area to make a contribution towards the off-setting the cost for 2021.

Having our town bright and welcoming for Christmas has never been more important.
