Support Massaponax HS Bands: Band Aid 2023

Band Aid is the biggest annual fundraiser for Massaponax High School's bands, including the Marching Panther Pride (MP2). Last year, the MP2 and MHS's Concert and Symphonic Band were recognized as a Virginia Honor Band (the top honor for a high school band in the Commonwealth), and Massaponax was named a Blue Ribbon School for Music Education. We truly could not have achieved these milestones (after the challenges of COVID setbacks) without the support of our community, families, band alumni, and friends near and far. If you have donated in the past, we THANK YOU FOR YOUR BELIEVING IN US AND HELPING US ACHIEVE OUR DREAMS!

Community support for our band program is essential because we receive minimal county funding. On Saturday, September 9, 2023, 55 Marching Panther Pride student members will spend the day knocking on doors to request donations. Your donation online will give them a head start and put us closer to our goal of $11,000.

The Marching Panther Pride is a family working together to bring school spirit and musicianship to football games, competitions, parades, and events. We need YOUR support to continue a proud tradition of representing the teal and black. When you donate, you help fund instruments, uniforms, competitions, instruction, trailer maintenance, and more. You help offset students' costs and provide scholarships to band members heading to college. You make it possible for students to participate in an activity with proven academic, social, and health benefits.
