Help Massaponax Bands Shine in 2024

Band Aid is the biggest annual fundraiser for Massaponax High School's bands, including the Marching Panther Pride (MP2). Last year, Massaponax was named a Blue Ribbon School for Music Education. Our amazing community of supporters (and you're in it if you're reading this message!) makes our students' life-changing experiences in band possible. We cannot do it without you and are so grateful to have you in our corner.

We are coming to you again this year to ask for your help to make this marching band season our best yet. Nationwide and here in Spotsylvania County, performing arts programs like ours receive minimal funding through the schools' budget. Community support is ESSENTIAL to keep our costs low for student participants and give them a top-quality experience that sets them up for life success.

Your support helps give our students PRIDE. Your donation will help grow their pride in themselves--along with their self-discipline, perseverance, and grit.

Thanks to the donors who gave so generously to our 2023 Band Aid fundraiser, we were able to provide experiences for our student performers that wouldn't have otherwise been possible. Everything from the thrill of competing in a huge college stadium to pizza dinners to new marching shoes to trailer repairs and dry cleaning bills for our uniforms: our generous donors made it all possible.

Massaponax has a high percentage of low-income families, and we do everything we can to make marching band accessible to ALL students. Keeping our dues lower than our peer schools and offering generous financial aid to families in need is all made possible through YOUR donations. We cannot thank you enough.

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, our 60+ Marching Panther Pride student members will spend the day knocking on doors in the neighborhoods around our school to request donations. Your donation online will give them a head start and put us closer to our goal of $12,000.
