Band-AIDs for DAUMA

Dauma here, humbly and uncomfortably reaching out and sharing per my doctors' and therapists' encouragement...

I've had a doozy couple of years with health complications, leading to life stressors and obstacles to conquer. About 2 years ago, an endoscopic ultrasound and biopsy revealed a pancreatic cyst with cancer markers leading to a partial pancreatectomy to remove it, and thank God pathology ruled it benign. Next, blood labs testing for hereditary hemochromatosis led to a series of phlebotomies at the cancer center, stable now. During the entire last year, I suddenly became seizural. After several visits to Urgent Care when feeling inexplicably "wonky and ill", I was rushed to the ER in April having suffered a Grand Mal violent unconscious seizure, physically injuring myself, including fracturing my vertebrae. After a lengthy hospitalization and physical therapy, I was laid off from working in our mountain schools due to my disabilities. Additional seizures hospitalized me 3 more times since then, all the whilst full-time seeing specialist doctors each and every week. Due to unrelenting stress of not knowing when a seizure could randomly hit, and suddenly being unemployed with no income, led to extreme anxiety and depression. I am being treated for all with the help of Rx medicines and doctors' visits, but my health insurance benefits have depleted and funds for uncovered medical costs and temporary housing closer to the hospital and my doctors are exhausted.

I don't know what else to do, but urgently and humbly ask my friends for any financial support you might be able to spare. My life's personal belongings are in storage, whilst I rent a temporary space for myself and my dog Laima. My neurologist wants to admit me ASAP for a lengthy hospitalization in the seizure unit for monitoring, but I postponed because I simply cannot afford it.

There's a Latvian saying I truly believe and live by: "Dots devejam atdodas". Rough meaning in English would be along the lines of "what one gives will be reciprocated to the giver".

Please, dear friends, are you able to help me with some "Band-AIDs" to be used for medical, housing and storage expenses in the hopes to continue to heal and remedy this fragile life?
