Bandstand Chamber Festival
UPDATE:
Heartfelt thanks to all who donated to make the Bandstand Chamber Festival possible. We had more than 1,300 ticket holders across 4 concerts from 1-15 September, with many more passers by stopping to watch. For every single performer in the festival, it was their first concert for nearly 6 months (since 15 March). It was the first taste of live music since lockdown for the vast majority of audience members, too.
This campaign is now over, but the Bandstand Chamber Festival will be launching a new series of indoor concerts this winter: Spotlight Chamber Concerts. Subscribe to the mailing list here: www.spotlightchamberconcerts.com

From 1-15 September 2020, the Bandstand Chamber Festival and Wandsworth Council will present a high-quality series of free, outdoor chamber music concerts. The performances will be part of the Love Parks Wandsworth campaign, which encourages residents to enjoy their local greenspace. There will be four top string quartets, performing some of the greatest pieces of classical music to a socially-distanced audience in Battersea Park, using the beautiful Victorian bandstand as a stage.
Thanks to the generosity of individual sponsors and the musical charities they support, this festival is nearly entirely funded, despite the fact that tickets are free. If you would like to help support the Bandstand Chamber Festival, your donations would be gratefully received. www.bandstandchamberfestival.com
