Bangladesh Neighborhood Beautification

Greetings from Dhaka, Bangladesh! Last year, I began volunteering with children in one of the city’s more challenging neighborhoods. I host an art class every weekend at an NGO that teaches kids basic skills with which they can make a living.

This year we are embarking on a project to beautify the neighborhood by painting buildings with traditional Bangladeshi designs. We will transform buildings from this…

We will engage the local community to secure their support and see if we can get the project to go viral!!

Bangladesh’s leading paint manufacturer is supporting our project, but we need funding to cover the cost of brushes, rollers, scaffolding, and related materials.
