Bangor Dog Shelter Project

The Adirondack Animal Coalition is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is "To improve the quality of life of animals through collaboration, education, and community involvement". We are reaching out to local businesses and individuals in the community to support our effort in making upgrades and improvements to the Bangor Dog Shelter. The facility houses dogs from the towns of Bangor, Brushton-Moira, Westville, Duane and Fort Covington. Upgrades are greatly needed to this facility that serves so many communities. The wish list for improvements includes (but is not limited to) Windows, Dog Doors, 2x4 's for headers, footers and casings, outdoor kennels, chain link fencing and hardware, new cement pads, flooring upgrades, insulation, and a washer & dryer.
