Banter’s Vet Bill Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Laurel and I'm fundraising for Banter. Tuesday, May 17th, Banter got loose and was missing for 2 days. Several community members and his owner searched tirelessly for Banter. The night of Thursday, May 19th, a train conductor found Banter on some railroad tracks and called the police. The police called Banter's owner, because they were aware of his disappearance and brought him to the ER. Banter had a badly broken leg and some head trauma. The vet had to do an ultrasound and several x-rays of Banter's torso to check for any possible internal damage. After the swelling in his brain went down (from the head trauma), Banter was given anesthesia to sedate him to clean and dress his wounds. He had surgery to remove his leg Saturday, May 21st, and went home the next day.
The first vet bill was over $7,000. Just for the vet to begin addressing Banter's issues, his owner had to pay a down payment of $5,300. This did not include the bill for the surgery. In the end, the total bill came to $10,000.
I'm asking for anyone who is able to please donate toward Banter's vet bills. Any amount would be GREATLY appreciated. No amount is too small. Also, any prayers or positive thoughts are appreciated. Banter needs all of the help he can get right now. Thank you so much.
