Bar Basso Supports Milan

What's Bar Basso:

If you're a designer worth your salt, you've logged some hours in the mighty Bar Basso during Salone.  For the past few decades, it has been the spot to meet, exchange stories, and share love exclusive to our design community.   Maurizio, the owner, has become himself a fixture within our industry as much as Bar Basso.  We felt considering the cancellation of Salone in 2020, one way we can support our community would be to support a man who has also supported us.

How we want to help:

After a chat with Maruizio he generously requested instead of helping him, there were others who are even more affected.  Therefore we decided to direct any and all funds to Opera San Francesco , and organization whom for more than 60 years have been taking care of the needy, the destitute, the homeless. They offer 200 meals a day for both lunch and for dinner.  They provide comfort and showers, trying to improve the quality of their lives. And, above all, they have a very efficient free clinic that supports up to 140 patients a day.  Your donation will go straight to work.

What we are asking from you:

We ask that you 'buy a a symbolic drink' by making a donation, where 100% of the funds will go on to Opera San Francesco.  As for Bar Basso... see you next April.
