Asalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh dear brothers and sisters, Ramadan Mubarak to you all.

We are writing to inform you all that we will be continuing this fundraiser to raise funds for one of the projects that we funded last year during my trip to Ethiopia.

Ibn Surur Madrasah is a Quran school that we helped last year and I know the teacher very well. We equipped the Quran school with new carpets and a Quran shelf, which helped organize and foster the students’ learning space so that they had a comfortable learning environment.

This year by the Will of Allah and also with the help of your donations, we want to help raise funds to support and cover the rent of the Quran class. We want to help ease the burden of the parents and kids who have little to means and struggle to make monthly payments for the fees. We would like to raise $2,000 to cover two years worth of rent and salary for the Ustadh. In addition, we are raising funds to support orphans and other masajids/madrasah’s around Ethiopia. May Allah increase the Barakah in your wealth and make this Sadaqah a means of your entry into the highest level of Jannah. May Allah make these donations become one that is accepted from us and become a means of on-going charity. Allahuma Ameen.
