Barb Hannon Support!

Hello! Lori Lynch Bryan here, long time friend of Barb Hannon!

Barb was diagnosed with MDS, a form of blood cancer, seven years ago. Since then, she has been treated by an expert medical team at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. They have monitored Barb's health and provided the least invasive treatments necessary and she has followed their recommendations to the letter over the years, including the dicey period of the pandemic. She has had to alter her lifestyle and employment scenarios significantly, and has managed well on her own, which is difficult when self-employed.

On December 22, Barb will enter the hospital for a period of 3-4 weeks, where she will undergo a stem cell transplant. You can read more about the procedure on her CaringBridge site, https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/barbsmdsjournal, but suffice it to say that Barb will be focused 100 percent on healing.

Given the time and energy required for Barb to focus on her health over the next several months, I'm setting up a Go Fund Me Account to help Barb with the resources to support her through this life changing process.
