Barbara Barnes Heart Attack Fund

A few days ago, Barbara Barnes was taken to a clinic in Belhaven with symptoms believed to have been caused by an intense panic attack, only to find out that she had actually suffered a heart attack days prior.

She was shortly transferred to Washington Hospital, then after to Greenville Hospital where she is continuing to be monitored in their Cardiology Department.

Barbara, mother to a 12-year-old son and a full-time student, remains the primary source of income for her family. While she is recovering, she will be unable to work, leaving unpaid bills in the meantime while her family focuses on her care.

While those who know Barbara know that she would never ask for any kind of money or help, her family has come together to start this fund. All money contributed will help alleviate some of the financial pressures on the family as they navigate her condition.
