Donations in Memory of Barbara Jean Young

On September 18, 2024, my mother, Barbara Jean Young departed this world to join our heavenly father. She was 85 years young, and a mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and devoted lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved tending to her garden, sewing, crochet, making soap, canning, quilting for those in need, and teaching others to do so. She loved to read and diving into genealogy. She spent many years bookkeeping/accounting and then applying her skills to farming.

In her passing, our family has been left with some significant unplanned expenses and life insurance policies that have lapsed due to illness. Our family is coming together to do what we can to cover these critical expenses, to settle debts, and to ensure she has a proper burial.

In our mother's final request she wished for privacy around her and her family. To honor her wishes, her funeral will a private event. In lieu of flowers, our family is humbly requesting donations of any sort towards this as she had a multitude of friends through the church and her community that cared for her.
