Barbara King Brown
Donation protected
Barbara King Brown passed away during the hours between October 21st and October 22nd (1 week ago). She had experienced strokes and was battling other health issues until her death. If you knew her, you know she was not a woman of many means; however, she loved the Lord with all of her heart and served him as a musician wherever she had the opportunity to use her God-given gifts. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise monies in support of her funeral to lighten the load on her husband AJ and her son Brantley who she loved dearly.
As a preacher in the CME Church now for 20 years and a pastor for 15 years, I have seen this particular situation play out too many times. As a community and people of faith, we need to plan for our transition, understanding that this is just the beginning of the remainder of our lives with Jesus. Our time on earth is short, and we should manage our resources better. Please understand the needs of the family supersede your word to me about life insurance or pre-need services in this moment. Over the next 4 days, we must raise $7,500. I pray you are moved with compassion and offer any gift or donation that moves the dial for this family. All funds will go to the Tree of Life Funeral Home in Fort Worth, TX, for funeral expenses for Sis. Barbara King-Brown.
