Barbara Pohubka Medical Fund

In 2015, Barbara was diagnosed with lung cancer.  Testing showed that she is not a good candidate for traditional chemotherapy and she began other methods of treatment.  This summer, all treatments have stopped working and the doctors have told her that the only thing left to try is traditional chemo.  She has had 3 rounds of radiation but the cancer has metastasized into her liver and lymph nodes.  

Barbara has been a J. P. Thomas & Co. employee since 2003 and is well loved, admired and respected.  As payroll administrator, she is a key Thomas employee and we depend on her greatly.  Not only that but she is family.  

We are asking for donations to help Barbara pay for medical cost associated with her cancer treatments.  Barbara and her husband Lad are very humble and would never ask for help.  However, we know that as Barbara's chemo treatments progress, she will not be able to work as much.   

Barbara is much loved by her husband, Lad, daughter Amy and granddaughter Gracie.
