She was killed in a senseless act of violence  that has left us all reeling. At the time of her death, she was living in Montgomery, AL, but her only child, her son Joseph Geffert, lives in Battleground, WA. The goal of this fundraiser is to send Barbara and her belongings home to Joe. The funds from this GoFundMe will be used to pay for a POD or similar moving service and any unexpected funeral expenses or fees. Our goal is to raise the money ASAP.The GoFundMe is being managed by Barbara's youngest brother Thomas Rowin and his wife, Katherine.  The funds themselves will be delivered directly to Joe.
